Ms. Elina Morozova
Elina Morozova is an expert in international space law and policy and regulation of the radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits for space communications. She earned two master’s degrees in International Law and World Economy from the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and holds an LLM degree in International Business Law from the University of Manchester.
Ms. Morozova is Executive Director at the Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications, an intergovernmental satellite telecommunications organization headquartered in Moscow. At Intersputnik, she is responsible for relations with member states and the United Nations system, including the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and the International Telecommunication Union, and heads the International and Legal Service.
Elina combines her career at Intersputnik with research and participates in the activity of space-related non-profit organizations. Ms. Morozova teaches a course on international space law and telecommunications law at St. Petersburg University and works on her JSD dissertation. She also seats on the editorial boards of internationally recognized academic journals and is the author (co-author) of a number of publications on international space law and satellite telecommunications in Russian and English.
