We're excited to share a sneak peek into what's on the horizon for ambitious young space professionals: the opportunity to join us at the 2024 International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Milan, Italy. 

The Secure World Foundation (SWF) is gearing up to support the next generation of space leaders through the Dr. Michael Simpson Scholarship Fund, an initiative previously known as the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) Scholarship Program.

The IAC 2024 promises to be an extraordinary gathering from October 14-18. This program targets space professionals under 35, aiming to fuel their journey into the space sector by facilitating their participation in one of the industry's most prestigious events.

Since its inception, the scholarship fund has seen a tremendous response, with over 450 applications and more than 60 scholarships awarded, benefiting young professionals from 28 countries. Our mission remains steadfast: to open doors for young talent to engage with the global space community, promoting their personal and professional development while encouraging the exchange of innovative ideas.

Although the application window is not yet open, we encourage interested candidates to start preparing. Those selected will receive support covering conference registration, travel to Milan, and lodging during the IAC.
