SWF Executive Director Dr. Peter Martinez was invited to speak on the Space Policy panel at the NewSpace Africa conference in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire. Dr. Martinez spoke to the various counterspace threats facing the space environment today, focusing on security threats such as directed energy, electromagnetic interference, and cyber attacks. He also addressed the difficulties facing arms control and disarmament efforts.
