Space Sustainability Fellows Announced

SWF is pleased to announce the recipients of the Space Sustainability Fellowships, Daniel Patton and Claire Oto. The Fellows will investigate fundamental questions and clarify fundamental concepts in space sustainability, space as a global commons and applying polycentric governance concepts to space.

Claire Oto is a senior policy analyst at the University of Virginia's National Security Policy Center. Prior to joining UVA, she was a communications specialist at the U.S. Department of Energy. Claire earned an M.P.P in Space and National Security from George Washington University and a B.A. in Comparative Politics from the University of California, San Diego.

 

 

Daniel Patton is an environmental specialist based in Huntsville, Al. Originally from Virginia, Daniel worked for the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality before starting his current position at NASA. Daniel has a bachelor's in environmental sciences from the University of Virginia and a master's in natural resources from Virginia Tech.
