Brian Weeden Discusses International Perspectives on Space at 2022 State of the Industrial Base Workshop

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden gave a keynote presentation at the 2022 State of the Industrial Base Workshop, which was held as a hybrid event in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 1-2, 2022. The event was organized by New Space New Mexico, the United States Space Force, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and the Defense Innovation Unit to discuss the current state of the U.S. space industrial base and how it relates to the U.S. competitive edge in space. 

Dr. Weeden's presentation gave an overview of international space activities, including recent trends, why countries are interested in space, major issues being discussed in various multilateral fora, and current and future opportunities for the U.S. to engage in international collaboration.
