This virtual panel hosted by the Third Nuclear Age project at the School of History, Politics, and International Relations, University of Leicester, discussed what is known and unknown about the alleged test of a Chinese Fractional Orbital Bombardment System (FOBS), and what it can mean for nuclear strategy, space security, and US-China relations.  SWF Washington Office Director Victoria Samson spoke on the panel about China’s counterspace and known hypersonic capabilities and compared them to U.S. hypersonic capabilities and plans.
