SWF Staff Participate in United Nations/Spain and the IAU Workshop on Dark and Quiet Skies for Science and Society

SWF Executive Director Peter Martinez participated in a roundtable discussion as part the satellite constellation session of the Dark and Quiet Skies for Science for Society conference. The session covered talks and recommendations from observatories and astronomers, industry, national policy and regulation, and international law, with an emphasis on how to implement the recommendations made in the D&QS conference in 2020, and on how to generally introduce measures to protect astronomy in the era of satellite constellations.
