Krystal Azelton Presents on "Earth Observation Satellites Potential for Climate Change Monitoring" at SEE Lab Annual Conference

The SEE Lab (the Space Economy Evolution Lab of SDA Bocconi School of Management) dedicated its Annual Conference to exploring the potential of outer space solutions to climate change during the PreCOP Summit 2021, which took place in Milan.

National and international experts, including SWF's Krystal Azelton, convened to discuss the contribution of satellite services to combating climate change, especially by monitoring ecosystems status and physical events, and the potential of space-based solar power as a renewable long-term energy source.

The Conference was part of the All4Climate – Italy 2021, an initiative encompassing the full lineup of climate events taking place in Italy this year. . Launched by the Italian Ministry for Ecological Transition in collaboration with the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate and with the participation of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, All4Climate aims to foster proactive dialogue on the challenges of the climate crisis and to deliver on the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
