SWF Leads Discussion on Chinese Perspectives on Military Space Programs

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden moderated a panel discussion on China's military space programs as part of the China Aerospace Studies institute (CASI) 2020 PRC Space Activities conference, which was held virtually on September 17, 2020. The panel included Mr. Kevin Pollpeter and Mr. Brian Waidelich from CNA, who were among the co-authors of a new report detailing China's perspectives on their own space program and that of the United States. The 90 minute panel discussion talked about the major findings from the report, how China's military space program relates to their civil and commercial space activities, and the implications for the United States and its allies.
