SWF Participates, Sponsors the IISL Space Law Moot Competition

SWF Space Law Advisor Chris Johnson judged three rounds of the first day of the North American Regional Rounds of the 2019 Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, held at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. This year, nineteen teams competed in the North American rounds, submitting written memorials and appearing for oral arguments before experts in international space law. The winner of this year's North American regional round is McGill University's Institute of Air and Space Law, who will proceed to the World Finals this fall at the International Astronautical Congress. 

SWF was also a dinner sponsor for the closing dinner the following evening.
