SWF Co-Hosts Event on Careers in Space Policy

On Aug. 23, 2018, SWF co-hosted with Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) an evening reception that brought together speakers from different backgrounds to discuss their roles and careers in space policy. The speakers at "It's Not Just Rocket Science: Careers in Space Policy" discussed their disparate paths to space policy, with some having a life-long love of space guiding their way, while others came at it by a more circuitous route. Panelists included those with government, media, development, legal, and non-profit backgrounds, which informed their discussions of their current focuses of their jobs and what they see as major space policy issues in the near- to long-term.
