SWF Participates in Discussion on the Technical and Legal Realities of Potential Conflict in Outer Space

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden participated in a webinar organized by the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association to talk about the technical and legal aspects of potential conflict in outer space. Dr. Weeden's portion of the presentation focused on comparing the fictional and Hollywood versions of war in space with the current technical and military reality, and describing the different types of attacks against space capabilities. He was followed by two lawyers from the U.S. Air Force who provided details about the legal restrictions on warfare in space. A copy of the entire slide presentation can be found here.
