Brian Weeden Presents on Space Situational Awareness at 3rd ASEAN Regional Forum Workshop on Space Security in Beijing

SWF Technical Advisor Brian Weeden gave a presentation on space situational awareness (SSA) to the 3rd ASEAN Regional Forum Workshop on Space Security in Beijing, China. The 2-day meeting brought together more than 100 representatives from 20 countries to discuss national space policies, legal means on arms control, transparency and trust building as well as technologies and measures on space security and sustainability. The event was co-hosted by the United States, Russia, China, and Laos, and followed previous events in Vietnam in 2012 and Tokyo in 2014. 

Mr. Weeden's presentation provided an overview of SSA and why improving SSA was important for enhancing space security and sustainability. The presentation can be seen here.
