SWF Publishes Three Updated Fact Sheets on Space Sustainability Initiatives

SWF has updated three fact sheets summarizing ongoing space sustainability initiatives:

The Draft International Code of Conduct (ICoC) for Space Activities: a non-legally binding, voluntary international instrument aimed at building norms of responsible behavior in space activities.

The UN COPUOS Long-Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities (LTSSA) Working Group: an initiative under the UNCOPUOS Scientific and Technical Subcommittee tasked with producing a consensus report outlining voluntary best practice guidelines for all space actors to ensure the long-term sustainable use of outer space.

The Group of Governmental Experts on Transparency and Confidence Building Measures (TCBMs) in Outer Space Activities: a small group of international space experts from a variety of countries convened to examine and report on methods for improving cooperation and reducing the risks of misunderstanding and miscommunication in space activities.”
