Overview

Join SWF Chief Director, Space Security and Stability Victoria Samson, for a discussion on collective security in outer space, co-hosted by the Fondation pour la recherche stratégique (FRS) and the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in France.

As government and private sector engagement in space accelerates, space becomes an increasingly complex domain—one marked by rapid technological advancements, heightened military reliance, and emerging strategic balances. This webinar explores the evolving security landscape of outer space and considers international cooperation frameworks needed to sustain a peaceful, safe, and predictable space environment.

Ms. Samson will share her insights on the critical role of collective security in space. With extensive experience addressing space sustainability and security challenges, she will explore the issues posed by a “contested, congested, and competitive” space environment.
