SWF is co-organizing a side event at the annual SmallSat conference in Logan, Utah discussing Space Debris and ASAT Testing: Protecting the Operation Environment for SmallSats. This meeting will provide a discussion of the impacts of anti-satellite (ASAT) testing on the operational environment for small satellites operators and identify actions the operator community can take to support building momentum behind national direct ascent ASAT test moratoriums. It will also provide further discussion of the policies, best practices, and challenges for small satellite developers addressing space sustainability presented during the main conference session on Orbital Debris, SSA & STM.
