Roundtable on Value Creation in Commercial Space

When: Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Time: 8:45 am

Where: New York City, New York

SWF and the Heinlein Prize Trust are co-organizing the Roundtable on Value Creation in Commercial Space, a one-day invite-only interactive investor and industry discussion of how developments in commercial space are creating and sustaining value beyond the start-up, angel and venture capital phases, with a focus on how value is defined, measured, and communicated. The event will consist of a series of three “Discussions” each focusing on a thematic topic: space launch, disruptive approaches to existing services, and the beyond LEO economy. Each Discussion will begin with short presentations from invited speakers. A moderated dialogue between all attendees and participants will follow, aiming to identify the questions, challenges, and opportunities surrounding efforts to create and sustain commercial ventures and value in each area. The Roundtable will conclude with a Capstone Discussion of cross cutting themes and common elements.

The Roundtable will be held at the Explorer's Club in New York City.
