Space Sustainability Topics Introduced at CABSAT 2018 in Dubai

SWF Project Manager Ian Christensen spoke at two conferences held as part of the annual CABSAT trade show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On January 14, 2018 Mr. Christensen presented a keynote, entitled "Space Sustainability: Global Market Developments and Space Programme Contributions" at the CABSAT Satellite Communications Conference. This keynote highlighted ongoing changes in the makeup of the community of space actors, and discussed the importance of norms of behavior in supporting responsible space operations. On January 16, 2018, Mr. Christensen gave a presentation at the GVF Satellite Hub Summit as part of a panel session covering "Orbital Debris: Dynamics in Mitigation Innovation." Held annually in Dubai, CABSAT is one of the satellite and broadcast industry's largest trade shows in the Middle East.
