Radiofrequency Interference Breakfast Salon

When: Thursday, May 22, 2014

Where: Space Foundation's 30th Space Symposium, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Part of what will affect the sustainability of the space environment is the continued access to and use of space.  Radiofrequency interference (RFI) harms the utility of space assets: space capabilities do very little good if what is being broadcast from the satellites cannot be received.  As more actors enter the space arena, it is increasingly important to ensure that all are aware of what constitutes responsible behavior in space in order not to generate RFI.  The Secure World Foundation and the Space Foundation are hosting an invitation-only breakfast salon that will examine this complicated issue from commercial, NGO, and legal perspectives at the Space Foundation's 30th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 8:15-9:45 AM.
