SWF Discusses Space Threats at ISU Alumni Conference

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden gave a presentation on counterspace threats as part of a panel discussion on "Security in and from orbit for the benefit of the citizen" held during the 2021 International Space University Alumni Conference. The panel was moderated by Juan-Luis Valero, head of the Brussels Office of the European Union SatCen and also included Ambassador Sorin Ducaru, Director of SatCen; and Dr Carine Claeys, Special Envoy for Space with the European External Action Service. Dr. Weeden gave a short presentation summarizing the findings of the SWF 2021 Global Counterspace Capabilities report and the current U.S. perspective on how to deal with space threats.
