Global Counterspace Threats Discussed at Tomorrow's Battlefield Lecture

SWF Washington Office Director Victoria Samson joined an evening lecture panel at Salve Regina University's Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy. With fellow panelists Dr. Jacquelyn G. Schneider, Assistant Professor at the U.S. Naval War College, and Whitney M. McNamara, Analyst at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, Ms. Samson discussed how emerging and evolving technologies will transform tomorrow's battlefield. Ms. Samson presented on the counterspace capabilities of spacefaring powers and how the current international environment needs better norms of behavior and improved situational awareness to hopefully prevent conflict in space.
