In partnership with the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and the Simons Foundation, Secure World sponsored the Institute's latest two-day conference on space security. This year's conference Space Security: The Next Chapter convened experts from around the world to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to new technologies that have great potential, but can also be destabilizing to a security status quo.

SWF Washington Office Director Victoria Samson helped organize the event, gave the welcoming address, and presented on on-orbit servicing to a panel discussion about the growing space economy. SWF Legal Advisor Chris Johnson moderated a panel on the emerging challenges to space security from missile defense to quantum computing. More information is available on the event page here.
