Thursday, March 2, 2017

SWF Director of Program Planning Dr. Brian Weeden gave a presentation on creating policy for dual-use space technology at the Global Forum, organized by the Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (CISSM). The presentation drew from Dr. Weeden's doctoral research on the interagency process for creating presidential space policy in the United States, and provided an overview of the history of the process, theoretical models and frameworks to understand how it works, and examples of decision-making processes from the Clinton, Bush, and Obama administrations.
