SWF’s Tiffany Chow Analyzes the Space Code of Conduct

On September 3, 2012, the Observer Research Foundation published an article by Secure World Foundation's Project Manager Tiffany Chow entitled "The Space Code of Conduct, and other factors," in which she analyzes the current draft of the International Code of Conduct for Outer Space Activities (ICoC). Before turning to analysis, the article provides basic background information on the code, its purpose and its nature as an evolving instrument. Ms. Chow then briefly investigates the way in which other factors influence the Code of Conduct process. Ms. Chow makes it evident that it is imperative for any governing body with a desire to maintain a central role in shaping space governance to keep all interrelated elements in mind while conducting space foreign relations.
