Brian Weeden appears on The Space Show to discuss the economics of space debris & space sustainability

SWF Technical Advisor Brian Weeden appeared on the Friday August 10 edition of The Space Show with David Livingston to discuss the economics of space debris and space sustainability. During the 90-minutes show, Brian discussed his recent Space Review article with an economic analysis of space debris and the shortcomings of trying to treat space debris as a traditional pollution problem. Brian also discussed different approaches, such as those developed by Nobel prize-winning economist Elinor Ostrom for sustainable governance of common-pool resources, as an alternative perspective to space sustainability.
