2009 Space Deterrence Workshop

The event was held at the Lidner Commons at George Washington University, 6th Floor, 1957 E. St NW

This was a closed door meeting bringing together key players from the US military, civil society, and policy worlds to expand the discussion surrounding both space deterrence and methods of protecting US space assets.

Through presentations, panel responses, and open discussion this workshop expanded the definition of deterrence, discussed policy issues and considerations, and injected new thinking into means of protecting space assets.
